Stay tuned this week for a full report on our new clinic!  There is a lot to share with you, so we will give updates throughout the week.  We give all the glory to God for the new clinic!  Thanks to those of you who prayed for us, supported us, and worked to build the clinic with us.

One big praise report is that our new, 8,000 sq ft, Fathers Heart Clinic is up and running. We moved in on August 7th with the help of three different teams working together to complete the move in one day. Our clinic staff are: Sandra, Irma, Cecilia, Marta, Carolina, Tomasa, Lety, Delfina, Rina, Haider, Laura, Telma and Tomasita. Carol Angelo, an RN from New Jersey who has been here two years, runs our
Pharmacy with the help of Telma. I (Cathy) see patients every day, but on three Thursdays a month I have the help of two Guatemalan doctors Dr. Lindsey and Dr. Paul. We still have two other Guatemalan doctors that come the last Thursday each month to treat orthopedic patients. Our first clinic day was held on Friday the 10th of August with a Chronic Clinic of 20 people, just to see how things would run. Then our second smaller clinic, an OB/GYN clinic on the 14th of August with 30 women, went a little smoother. Our first General Clinic day with about 90 people was a little chaotic but we survived. Now we have held four Thursday General Clinics and have most of the kinks worked out of the
clinic operation.  We are so thankful for our new beautiful building in which we can serve many people.  Praise God!

I’m so excited to see what God has done. God willing Mike and I will be there in May to take a first-hand look at it. God bless you all.
Note to Carol Angelo: I lost your email address and can’t seem to get to you via the website. Email me when you get a chance. Liz Ferris
