This February, the Sienna Project will come to ASELSI to build us a school building for the special needs children in Jesus’ Little Lambs School. Before they can build on the land however, we needed the land to be leveled. We also needed to remove many large tree trunks. The mayor of Chichicastenango has access to a backhoe, and we had asked him months ago if he would let us use it to level the ground. Since the mayor is leaving his post in two days (and a new mayor will enter) we didn’t have much faith that he would send the backhoe, but with the little faith that we did have we asked God to provide. We were so thankful when yesterday morning the machine showed up! We give thanks to God for his provision, and for the way he cares for his little lambs.
