Each week we are trying to update the website, bit by bit.  Last week we added some photo collage summaries of a few of the teams.  Please take a look at the Team Gallery 2011: http://www.aselsi.org/658671.ihtml  We are thanking God for the hard work of each of these teams.  Through them, the people of Guatemala have been greatly blessed.

If you have been a part of a team at ASELSI recently, please forward your photos to us to be added to the website.  We don’t always have a photographer available and need your help to share the amazing things God has done during your trip.

We have attempted to take an “official” team photo of each group while they are here.  These photos will be posted on Smug Mug, where you can purchase copies or have them put on a mug, mouse pad, t-shirt or other items.  http://aselsiint.smugmug.com/  All proceeds from these sales return to ASELSI.

Please continue to pray for the team from Oakbrook Church that is currently in Cotzal.  Today they will prepare a lunch and testimonies for the alcoholics, shoe shine boys and men that carry heavy loads for the market.  Then they will take baskets of food to the homes of several poor families and share the Gospel with them.  Tomorrow they will travel back to Chichicastenango.  Please continue to pray for their health and safety as they minister and travel, and for much fruit from the work they have done.

Meanwhile back in Chichi, construction continues on the new clinic building, our medical clinic and special needs school are serving the community, ILIO and IBEX classes are being planned and taught, and plans are being made for the groups that will be coming soon.   Every day, ASELSI is “equipping saints”  for the glory of God.
